Rejoice, Endure, and Persevere
St. Paul wrote to the church in Rome: "Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer" (Romans 12:12). His words echo the exhortation of Jesus Christ that "the one who perseveres to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13). Stacey and I will discuss my time spent in seminary formation and the need for fidelity to the call of the Lord in daily activities.
Bio
Pat Wille is a seminarian in formation to become a priest of the Diocese of Peoria in Illinois. He graduated with a degree in finance from the University of Illinois and worked at The Boeing Company in Seattle, St. Louis, and Chicago before the Lord invited him to enter the seminary. He is amazed at the depth and richness of the Catholic faith, which he has experienced firsthand in countless ways. As a priest, God-willing, he is looking forward to bringing people to experience the love of God in the Eucharist and the mercy of God through Confession. Hobbies include playing basketball and golf, relearning guitar, and listening to audiobooks at 2x speed.
