Motherhood is an Expansion of God's Dream
Sadly, our culture has normalized the belief that motherhood is in conflict with our God-given dreams. I believe that God places a unique and irreplaceable dream in every woman that he intends to fulfill. It is precisely through that dream that we discover his divine purpose for us. I believe his dreams for us are united with our vocation as mothers. Motherhood ought to be an expansion of God’s dream because a mother’s voice is needed in all facets of society. It requires us to pray and pay attention to what God is asking in the different seasons of our life. And at the same time, we have to constantly form ourselves in the human and spiritual disciplines necessary to respond to God’s call of excellence in all our vocations, especially motherhood. As a mother of 8 children and an entrepreneur, I want to share with you why God needs mothers to dream with, and for him. I will also share with you how to practically begin this journey in a way that does not compromise our faith, our husbands, and family.
